Groby Litter Pick Event 16.05.26

Thank-you so much to everyone who attended the March litter pick! It was a great success and we really appreciate everyone’s efforts.

The next litter pick is Saturday 16th May.
We will be meeting at Groby Parish Council Office at 10am and refreshments will be available around 12pm. All litter picking equipment will be provided.

Please do come along and join us!

Beat Surgery Friday 10th April 2026

Our local Safer Neighbourhood Team are holding a Beat Surgery at Groby Library on Friday 10th April from 10:30-11:30am.

Everyone is welcome to attend to pose questions, share concerns or find out what they are doing for our local area. No booking required.

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Picnic in the Park event – a fun-filled afternoon for the whole community to come together and enjoy!

It will be held on Stamford Park, Groby on Sunday 16th August from 12-4pm.

Join us for:

🎨 Free children’s entertainment including face painting
🏃‍♂️ Inflatable obstacle courses

Whether you want a picnic with family and friends, entertainment for all ages or want to explore what local makers and businesses have to offer, there will be something for everyone.

Groby Parish Council is organising another ‘Great Groby Litter Picking Event’ to coincide with the Great British Spring Clean 2026.

Meet us at the Parish Council Office at 10am on Saturday 14th March.

We’ll provide you with all of the equipment and refreshments afterwards.
