Sensory Garden Opening – Groby Parish Council

Marina Park’s sensory garden is officially open!

We have many to thank for their contributions towards this including our fantastic estates team for their hard work and creativity, Groby Gardening Society for their contribution towards the planting and Mes Enfants Childcare for sponsoring the beautiful dragonfly mural that can be found in the garden.

This mural is the amazing work of international artist Nicola Wood, see above photo of her and her daughter. Thank-you so much Nicola, we have already received many compliments on your work and we’re sure that those visiting the garden will get a lot of enjoyment from it!

Thank-you also to Ady Dayman for opening the garden for us along with the help from his niece – Nicola’s daughter. We loved having you there.
